How these are counted

A paid call is a request that was charged: paid with Agent Credits through an API key, or paid for on the spot over x402. Free requests, failed requests and retries of a request already paid for are not counted, and neither are our own status checks.

Agent Credits are what those calls spent. An x402 settlement is a USDC payment that went through: one for each call paid over x402, and one for each account bought that way.

Buybacks come from what a call earns once its own direct costs are paid, so a call that earns nothing adds nothing. That share is set aside as each call completes and spent buying HIVE each week.
