Terms & Conditions

HivemindOS gives people powerful local-first AI, automation, wallet, and fleet-control tools. You choose what to connect and authorize, and consequential decisions still require your judgment.

1. Agreement, publisher, and eligibility

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the official HivemindOS website, software, interfaces, agents, workflows, automations, integrations, hosted or managed features, identity and community features, and any operation powered by HivemindOS, collectively the Services. Rizzma Inc. operates the official HivemindOS website and services. The HivemindOS Parties include Rizzma Inc., the project maintainer, authors, contributors, licensors, affiliates, distributors, and service providers involved in providing the Services.

By checking the in-app acceptance box and selecting Accept and continue, or by otherwise accessing or using an official Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. You must be legally capable of entering this agreement and at least the age of majority where you live. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

A paid, hosted, enterprise, marketplace, or third-party service may provide supplemental terms. Those terms also apply to that service and control if they conflict with these Terms for that service.

2. Open-source and self-hosted software

HivemindOS source code is available under its published open-source license, currently the MIT License. That license governs your rights to copy, modify, and distribute covered code. These Terms govern use of the official site and Services and do not remove rights granted by an applicable open-source license.

A self-hosted installation, modified build, fork, model, plugin, skill, integration, or third-party deployment may be controlled by another operator. Rizzma Inc. does not control and is not responsible for independent forks or deployments.

3. What HivemindOS and AI can do

HivemindOS can coordinate artificial intelligence systems, agents, models, tools, computers, files, accounts, communications, schedules, code, and financial or commercial services. Artificial intelligence is powerful and can materially enhance productivity, creativity, research, decision support, and the ability to pursue business or earnings opportunities.

Those benefits are possibilities, not promises. Results depend on your instructions, data, models, tools, permissions, market conditions, oversight, and many factors outside the control of the HivemindOS Parties.

4. AI is imperfect and requires human review

Artificial intelligence is still far from perfect. It can make mistakes; misunderstand instructions or context; omit important facts; produce biased, offensive, outdated, infringing, insecure, or unlawful material; fabricate facts, citations, files, or results; and act unpredictably when connected to tools. Outputs that sound confident may still be wrong.

You must apply appropriate human review before relying on an output or allowing an operation to affect people, data, systems, accounts, reputation, rights, money, or the physical world. Treat AI output as a draft or recommendation, not as a guaranteed fact or result. Independently verify material information, test important work, and monitor ongoing automations.

5. Your discretion, control, and assumption of risk

You use the Services and all HivemindOS-powered operations at your discretion and risk. You decide which agents, models, tools, machines, accounts, files, credentials, wallets, permissions, schedules, and instructions to connect or authorize. You remain responsible for each operation you initiate, approve, schedule, enable, or permit an agent or automation to perform.

You knowingly assume the risks arising from your use of the Services, including unintended actions, inaccurate output, data loss, downtime, security incidents, financial loss, missed opportunities, reputational harm, legal claims, and third-party conduct. Approval prompts, permissions, budgets, previews, logs, evaluations, and stop controls reduce some risks but cannot eliminate them or guarantee a safe result.

  • Use least-privilege access and separate low-risk test accounts where practical.
  • Keep current backups and recovery plans before allowing file, code, infrastructure, or data changes.
  • Set spending limits and independently confirm recipients, networks, assets, amounts, fees, and transaction details.
  • Supervise consequential work and stop an agent or automation when its behavior is unclear or unsafe.

6. Local-first operation and connected features

HivemindOS is designed around a private, local-first core. Local app state, chats, files, agent configuration, shared-brain content, credentials, operational records, and local telemetry can stay on the machines and private network you control when you use local runtimes and do not enable remote services.

Local-first does not mean every feature is offline. External model providers, hosted or managed agents, Hivemind Sync, remote machines, communication platforms, cloud deployment, marketplaces, payment and wallet rails, public blockchains, public identity features, and third-party integrations require network communication. Those features are connected, configured, enabled, or invoked by you, except for limited technical checks such as signed software-update and source-version checks described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for reviewing the privacy and security implications of each connection before using it with confidential, regulated, personal, or proprietary information.

7. No professional advice or unsupervised high-impact use

The Services and their outputs are not a substitute for qualified financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, medical, mental-health, safety, engineering, cybersecurity, or other professional advice. The HivemindOS Parties do not act as your fiduciary, broker, attorney, doctor, accountant, employer, or agent merely by providing the Services.

Do not use the Services as the sole basis for decisions that could materially affect a person's health, safety, legal rights, finances, employment, housing, insurance, education, access to essential services, or other high-impact interests. Obtain independent professional advice and meaningful human review where appropriate or required by law.

8. Earnings, business, and financial outcomes

HivemindOS may help you work faster, reduce costs, identify opportunities, create products, perform services, or support earning activity. No productivity gain, revenue, profit, investment return, token value, customer result, cost saving, or other earnings outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Examples, forecasts, simulations, benchmarks, marketplace prices, reward estimates, and projected earnings are illustrative or estimated and may be incomplete or wrong. Markets, tokens, digital assets, businesses, and third-party services can be volatile or fail entirely. You are solely responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable and for all resulting taxes, reporting duties, losses, and obligations.

9. HIVE, Honey, wallets, staking, and digital assets

HIVE, Honey, staking, wallet, reward, marketplace, trading, and other digital-asset features involve substantial risk. Digital assets can be volatile, illiquid, technically flawed, restricted, taxed, lost, or become worthless. Nothing in the Services is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, hold, trade, or stake an asset.

Blockchain transactions and smart-contract interactions may be public, binding, costly, and irreversible. You are responsible for wallet security, network selection, gas and provider fees, taxes, reporting, eligibility, transaction review, and compliance with laws that apply to you. HivemindOS does not receive your seed phrase or private key when you connect an ordinary external wallet.

10. Lawful and responsible use

You may use the Services only in compliance with applicable law, contractual duties, licenses, platform rules, and the rights of others. You are responsible for obtaining all permissions, notices, consents, registrations, and professional or regulatory approvals required for your use.

  • Do not use the Services to deceive, defraud, harass, exploit, discriminate against, impersonate, surveil, or harm a person unlawfully.
  • Do not bypass security, access systems or data without authorization, distribute malware, interfere with services, or conceal unlawful activity.
  • Do not submit content or data you lack the right to use, or use generated material in a way that infringes privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, confidentiality, or other rights.
  • Disclose AI-generated or AI-manipulated material when required by law, platform rules, professional duties, or the context needed to avoid deception.

11. Identity and community features

If you choose to link a wallet to an X account or participate in public HIVE community features, you authorize the requested verification and understand that a verified wallet association, selected public profile information, public posts, contribution scores, reward records, and public transaction details may be displayed publicly as described in the Privacy Policy.

You may claim only a wallet and account you are authorized to control. Do not impersonate another person, submit forged proofs, manipulate rewards, or use identity features to mislead others.

12. Connected services and third parties

The Services may interoperate with third-party models, runtimes, websites, marketplaces, financial rails, wallets, cloud providers, communication platforms, devices, plugins, skills, and open-source packages. Those services are controlled by others and may change, fail, suspend access, charge fees, process data, or produce harmful results. Their own terms and privacy practices apply.

The HivemindOS Parties do not control or endorse third-party content, products, transactions, or conduct and are not responsible for them. You are responsible for reviewing third-party terms, maintaining your accounts and credentials, and confirming that each connection is appropriate for your use.

13. Data, credentials, and security

You retain responsibility for the data, prompts, files, credentials, code, and other material you provide or make accessible. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that material and to instruct the Services to process it.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for access controls, backups, credential rotation, account recovery, retention rules, and incident response appropriate to your risks. Never provide HivemindOS, an agent, or a support contact with a wallet seed phrase or private key unless you deliberately use a local encrypted wallet-vault feature that clearly explains how the secret is stored and used.

14. Agents, transactions, and irreversible actions

Agents and automations may continue operating after you leave a screen or close a client, depending on the runtime and schedule you enabled. You are responsible for monitoring them and for disabling or revoking access when no longer needed.

Messages, publications, deployments, purchases, trades, token transfers, smart-contract interactions, and other external actions may be public, binding, costly, or irreversible. Preview and confirmation interfaces do not guarantee that a recipient, address, asset, amount, network, contract, order, or outcome is correct. Verify consequential actions through an independent source before authorizing them.

15. Content and ownership

You retain ownership of material you submit, subject to any rights needed for the Services and connected providers to process it at your direction. You are responsible for determining whether generated output can be owned, protected, licensed, or lawfully used; the HivemindOS Parties make no promise that output is unique or free of third-party rights.

HivemindOS names, marks, logos, and site presentation may be protected separately from the open-source code license. Do not imply official endorsement of a fork, service, token, or product without permission.

16. Changes, availability, and support

The Services may be modified, updated, interrupted, limited, or discontinued at any time. Features may be experimental, incomplete, or incompatible with a particular model, runtime, device, law, or third-party service. Unless separately agreed in writing, the HivemindOS Parties have no obligation to provide support, maintenance, data recovery, uptime, compatibility, or any specific feature.

17. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND. THE HIVEMINDOS PARTIES DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, SECURITY, AVAILABILITY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

THE HIVEMINDOS PARTIES DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES OR OUTPUTS WILL BE CORRECT, SAFE, SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, LAWFUL FOR YOUR PURPOSE, OR CAPABLE OF PRODUCING ANY PARTICULAR RESULT. YOU USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

18. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE HIVEMINDOS PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, DATA, DIGITAL ASSETS, OR USE; COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM AI OUTPUT, AUTOMATIONS, THIRD PARTIES, SECURITY INCIDENTS, OR UNAUTHORIZED OR UNINTENDED ACTIONS, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGE WAS POSSIBLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE HIVEMINDOS PARTIES FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY FOR THE RELEVANT HIVEMINDOS SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, these provisions apply only to the fullest extent allowed. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you.

19. Indemnity, suspension, and termination

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the HivemindOS Parties from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, penalties, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your content, your use or misuse of the Services, an operation you authorize or permit, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your infringement of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Access to a hosted or managed service may be suspended or terminated for a material breach, unlawful or unsafe use, security risk, nonpayment, third-party dependency, or discontinuation. Termination does not automatically reverse an operation already submitted or stop a separately running agent, runtime, schedule, transaction, or third-party service; you must disable those systems directly.

20. Updates and general legal terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to the Services, risks, or law. When a material update is presented in the app, you must accept the new version before continuing to use the gated Services. The version and effective date identify the agreement you accepted.

Applicable mandatory law governs these Terms. Any separate written service order may specify governing law, venue, and dispute procedures for that service. These Terms do not limit non-waivable consumer rights. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
