The town square
The middle of everything: the fountain, the pond, the band stage and the buildings around them.
The fountain stands at the middle of the square, benches round it and Gerald the snail on its rim. Around it are The Shop, Hive Arcade, Hive Cinema, Hive Bank, the Exhibit and Museum, The Commons and the Bee Garden, with Brain Hall up the hill.
What's on the square
- The workbench by the fountain, where you make things.
- The pond, home of the 8 AM fishing contest.
- The project board and the notice board: what the town is building together, and notes neighbours leave.
- The Lamppost, which wears the Neighbour of the Month rosette.
- The band stage, which rises at sunset for the busker band. Otis waits at its end.
- High ground to climb: Lookout Rock, Sunny Hill and Breezy Rise, each with finds on top.
The shore
The harbour is on the east shore. On the east beach is the dive rock you swim out from, and on Sundays Captain Brine's submarine. Plots roped off with a coming-soon sign are town projects waiting to be built.
